Keumgang

금강, 金剛

Sometimes written as Gumgang, Kumgang.

Interpretation

금강 (geumgang), which means diamond, symbolises hardness, or that which is too strong to be broken. [1, 2] This form refers to the mountain called 금강산 (geumgangsan), which is considered the centre of national spirit, and is a symbol of immovability and the unchanging, and if also refers to the 금강 역사 (geumgang yeoksa), the strongest fighter named. [1]
